MARTHA LOUISE GIRDNER Funeral services for Cortez resident, Martha Louise Girdner will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 3 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Lewis Cemetery. Kyle Todd and Mike Boyd will officiate. Louise was born on May 8, 1943 in Welling, Okla. to Perry Paul and Sarah Emma (Watson) Moore. She passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at her home in Cortez. Louise was 61 years old. On May 7, 1965 in Tulsa, Okla. Louise married Carthel Girdner. She spent her professional career as a safety coordinator for the food industry. During her spare time Louise enjoyed going to the mountains. Surviving Louise are her husband, Carthel Girdner of Cortez; her children, Debbie Boyd and husband, Mike of Lewis, James Green and wife, Kim, Rick Girdner, and Brian Girdner all of Tulsa, Okla. She leaves nine grandchildren, Bryan, Emma, and Abby Girdner, Michael Boyd, James, and Alescia Green, Levi Eads, Dustin, and Krystal Girdner; as well as two great-grandchildren, Trevor and Owen Girdner. Her two brothers Fred Moore and wife, Barbara, and Jim Moore all of Tulsa, Okla.; and her sister-in-law, Barbara Moore also survive Louise. Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, Rocky Moore.
