Marshall Babe Deer

Graveside services for Towaoc resident Marshall Babe Deer will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2020 at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Marshall was born April 11, 1986 in Cortez, CO the son of Victor Deer and Veronica Joyce Cuthair. He passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez, CO at the age of 34.
Marshall was one of the youngest Sundancers’. He also boxed and like to ride his BMX bike. Marshall loved animals and taking care of the horses, cows and dogs. He was also quite the artist and liked to draw black and white pictures.
Surviving Marshall are his mother, Veronica Cuthair of Towaoc, CO; his sons, Marshall Toby Deer and Dre-syn Victor Deer both of Towaoc, CO; his brother, Jedthro Deer of Towaoc, CO; his half-brothers, Kendall Cuthair and Daniel S. Lehi; and his uncles, Stacy Lansing, Norman Lansing, and Herbert Lansing Jr. Marshall was preceded in death by his father, Victor Deer.
