MARILYN IRENE BEECHER HOUSE Funeral services for lifelong Towaoc resident, Marilyn Irene Beecher House will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Towaoc Cemetery. A visitation has been scheduled for Monday evening from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Ertel Chapel. Marilyn was born on May 14, 1942 in Red Valley, Ariz. the daughter of South and Lucy (Bedoni) Beecher. She passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at her home in Towaoc at the age of 72. A very hard working woman, Marilyn spent time in many professions. She worked as a postmaster, bookkeeper, seamstress, pharmacy technician, security, and was also the executive housekeeper at the Ute Mountain Casino Motel. There were many things that Marilyn enjoyed. She loved bead working, gambling, sewing blankets and clothes; putting together puzzles, listening to music and visiting with people. She was also a member of the Native American Church. Surviving Marilyn are her children, Stephanie House, Archie House, Jr. and wife, Olive, DeAnne House, Yvonne House all of Towaoc, Angel Arlan House of Phoenix, Ariz., William House and wife, Karen, Rutherford Mills, and Joseph Gurule all of Towaoc. Numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren also survive Marilyn; as well as her brother, Tommy Beecher of Towaoc. Preceding her in death were her parents, South and Lucy Beecher.
