Marilyn Gilbert

MARILYN GILBERT Marilyn Gilbert was born August 26, 1931 in Queens, N.Y. the daughter of Albert and Margaret (Herrscher) Miller. She passed away at her Mancos residence on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the age of 81. Marilyn was an accountant and security official for the Hudson Institute which was a research "think tank." In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed golfing and solving crossword puzzles. She was an avid fan of the television game shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Surviving Marilyn are her sons, Paul A. Gilbert and wife, Bette Anne of Mesa Verde, Colo. and John C. Gilbert and wife, Rebecca of Mancos; and her niece, Janet Congi of Holbrook, N.Y. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Arthur Francis Gilbert; and by her brother, Jacob Miller. Cremation has taken place and no local services are planned.
