Margaret Agnes Wright

MARGARET AGNES WRIGHT Margaret Agnes Wright was born on December 16, 1910 in Fayette, Iowa the daughter of Ray and Winifred (Bender) Hall. She passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at her Cortez home at the age of 98. On November 23, 1953, Margaret married William John "W.J." Wright in Pueblo, Colo. Margaret was a founder of the Methodist Thrift Store and she belonged to the Methodist Women's Club and the Professional Business Women's Association. Margaret was a wonderful homemaker, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She loved to travel and was proud that she had visited 49 states by car. Margaret was a very simple, good woman. Margaret is survived by her husband, W.J. Wright of Cortez; her children, Connie Crawford and husband, Steven of Mena, Ark., and James Wright and wife, Amy of Tucson, Ariz.; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Sydney Hall. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's name to the Methodist Thrift Shop.
