Mabel Lou Highland

Mabel Lou ‘Scottie’ Highland was born July 21, 1922 in Van Hook, ND the daughter of Frank Murdock and Jesse Alma (Ernest) McQueen. She passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Vista Grande Inn at the age of 97.
Scottie married Wayne Bartlett Highland January 8, 1947 in Las Vegas NV.
Surviving Scottie are her children, Penny Stevens (Joe) of Cortez, CO, Raye Nell Highland of Santa Fe, NM, Malcolm Bart Highland of Loveland, CO, and Emma Shipley; her brother, Malcolm McQueen of San Diego, CA; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Scottie was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Jesse McQueen; her spouse Wayne Highland; her son, Gilbert Ted Highland; her sister, Ernestine Pederson; and her brother, Donald McQueen.
