LYNN M. HALLS Funeral services for Lynn M. Halls will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 10 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Peel Cemetery. Visitation has been set for Monday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Lynn M. Halls passed from this life at his home in Taylorsville, Utah on August 5, 2010 at the age of 79. He was born August 27, 1930 to Leon D. and Louise (Medford) Halls in Mancos, Colo. Joining the U.S. Army when he was 17 years old in 1948, Lynn served in Korea for two years and was honorably discharged in 1952. Lynn met June Knuckles at Brigham Young University in 1952 and they were married December 26, 1953. Lynn and June have spent the last 57 years together. Lynn was a journeyman sheet metal worker and worked for Hulbert Brothers and then Linde Company for several years. He owned and operated L. M. Halls Sheet Metal Fabrication Company from 1966 until his retirement in 1997. Surviving Lynn are his wife, June Halls of Taylorsville, Utah; and his sister, Quincy Dean Smith of Battle Mountain, Nev. Preceding Lynn in death are his parents; one brother; and his daughter, Jackie.
