LYNDAL KYLE HUNT Graveside memorial services for Lyndal Kyle Hunt, 29, of Mancos and lifelong resident of this area, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 10 at Cortez Cemetery. Lyndal was born March 8, 1977 the son of Thomas Arthur and Nancy Ann (Saunders) Hunt in Amarillo, Tex. He passed away at his home in Mancos on Sunday, November 5, 2006. On November 2, 2005 Lyndal married Lindsay Jo Langston in Cortez. He had cooked for Dry Dock in Cortez for five years and also was a co-owner of Chef’s Restaurant in Grand Junction. Lyndal loved to snowboard, fish and play board games, especially Monopoly. Surviving Lyndal are his wife, Lindsay Jo Hunt; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Charlie Whitehorn of Cortez; his grandmother, Dora Hunt of Breen, Colo.; two sisters, Stacie L. Hunt of Socorro, N.M., and Stephine Tanner and husband, Mike of Cortez; two step-sisters, Kandy Cruzan and husband, Jay of Cortez, and Kerri Whitehorn of Peoria, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews, Hanna Wallace, Faith Tanner, Seth Tanner, Sarai Cruzan and Jadon Cruzan. Lyndal was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, J.W. “Pete” Saunders, Margaret (Hanna) Saunders, and William Hunt.
