Lyle Kenneth Halls

LYLE KENNETH HALLS Graveside services for Lyle Kenneth Halls, 73 of Aztec, N.M., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19 at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mr. Harry Halls will officiate. Lyle was born in Mancos, Colo. on August 21, 1933 the son of Leon David and Mary Louise (Medford) Halls. He passed away at his home in Aztec on Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Lyle married Patricia Ann McCoy on November 16, 1956 in Farmington, N.M. Last November Lyle and Pat celebrated 50 years of marriage. Lyle was a welder by trade and enjoyed in his free time doing ornamental iron work. His love of horses encouraged him to learn the art of ferriering. Lyle was devoted to his family and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent taking rides together. Surviving Lyle are his wife, Pat Halls of Aztec, N.M.; his children, Eddie Lynn Halls of Evanston, Wyo., Terry Ann Halls of Aztec, N.M., L.K. Halls and wife, Jamie also of Aztec, N.M., and Rachelle Louise Shure and husband, Steve of Queen Creek, Ariz.; one grandson, James Douglas Cruse of Casper, Wyo.; his sister, Quincy Dean Smith of Battle Mountain, Nev.; and his brother, Lynn Medford Halls of Dove Creek, Colo.
