Lyla Gena Zamani

LYLA GENA ZAMANI Lyla Gena Zamani was born May 1, 1965 in Durango, Colo. the daughter of Eugene Merlin and Joan Gay (Stanley) Folsom. On May 28, 1994, Lyla married Masood Zamani in Los Angeles, Calif. Lyla raised two wonderful children and she was exceptionally proud of her son and daughter. Lyla had a strong connection with animals. She enjoyed being in the company of many different animals and most especially liked training horses and dogs. Lyla was an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting. Surviving Lyla are her father, Gene Folsom of Durango, Colo.; her mother, Joan Folsom of Rico, Colo.; her husband, Masood Zamani of Woodland Hills, Calif.; her children, Jon Elyas Zamani (Yohana) of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Jasmine Zamani of Woodland Hills, Calif.; her siblings, Stanley Folsom of Durango, Colo., June Carter of Rico, Colo., and Donna Lyon of Dove Creek, Colo.; and by numerous close and dear relatives. She was preceded in death by her brother John D. Folsom.
