  Funeral services for Lorna Gean Butler will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Cortez 7^th Day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery.

  Lorna was born July 31, 1930 in Cortez the daughter of William and Willie Mattie (Meadows) Baer. She passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at her residence at the age of 93.

  Surviving Lorna are her children, Ardeth Jensen (Loyd) of Ottawa, Kan., Norman Butler Jr. of Mancos, Ina Warren (Kurtis) of Mancos, and Denise Lenahan (Isaac Barr) of Dolores; by her sister, Myrna Palmer of Cortez; and by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Lorna was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Norman Butler Sr.; and by her siblings, Betty James, Mayme Ismay, and Buddy Baer.
