Lola Lee Roberts

LOLA LEE ROBERTS

  Lola Lee Roberts was born August 19, 1933, in Mancos to Ted R. and Alice Willden. She married Marion Roberts on July 5, 1950, in Pagosa Springs, CO. He was in the Air Force and they traveled the world. 

 After raising her children, Lola retired from the Montezuma County Health Dept as a home visiting nurse. She then worked at the Valley Rehab and Healthcare Center for 7 years. At age 89, she returned to reside there where she knew she would receive wonderful care. She lived there until her passing on June 15, 2024. Surviving Lola are 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and many grandchildren, and her 5 children; Wanda Cason (Mac), born at Sandia Air Force Base in Albq, NM, Paul Roberts, born at Wheelus Air Base in Tripoli, Libya, Africa, Carl Roberts (Fran), born at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX, Donna Ayers (Bill Mazan) born at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA, and Susan Beck (Paul) born at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one grandchild. Private family services were held.
