LILLIAN ROENA CLEMENSEN Funeral services for lifelong Dolores resident, Lillian Roena Clemensen will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 27 at the Johnson Memorial Methodist Church in Dolores. Interment will follow at the Summit Ridge Cemetery. Reverend Vickie Richards-Street will be officiating. A visitation has been scheduled for Friday evening at the Ertel Chapel from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Lillian was born on December 21, 1925 in Cortez, the daughter of Mark Hanna and Ernestine Elizabeth (Godbehere) Roubidoux. She passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at her home in Dolores at the age of 79. Lillian belonged to both a bridge club, and the Good Sam’s RV Club. She deeply enjoyed camping and RV travel. Quilting and cooking were also hobbies Lillian delighted in. Surviving Lillian are her husband, Don Clemensen of Dolores; her children, Carol Nichols and husband, David, James Simmons and wife, Evelyn, Sherry Hernandez and husband, Ricky, Gayle Sanders and husband, Bob, Keith Clemensen and wife, Kim, and Donna Randall and husband, Sisto; her grandchildren, Jerrod Simmons, Kevin Simmons, Eric Simmons, Amber Rantz, Michala Lynn, Noah Nichols, Lori Frizzell, Sarah Wood, Michael Sanders, David Sanders, Jason Hernandez, Brant Clemensen, Tyler Clemensen, Sisto Randall Jr., Jacob Randall, and Nicholas Randall; her 12 great-grandchildren; and her brother and sister, Mark Mitchell Roubidoux and wife, Kristin of Lenore, Ida., and Lola Wright and husband, Gordon of Yuma, Ariz. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Mark Roubidoux, and Ernestine Merlin; her first husband of forty four years, Harold Simmons; and her brothers, Raymond Roubidoux and Ernest Roubidoux. Memorial contributions can be made in Lillian's name at Dolores State Bank.
