LEWIS EDWIN PRICE Funeral services for lifelong Towaoc resident Lewis Edwin Price will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2 at the Towaoc Recreation Center. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Lewis was born on December 3, 1957 in Denver, Colo. the son of Edwin Pewee and Regina Price. He passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 50. In February of 1988, Lewis married Nola Lee Laner in Cortez. Lewis enjoyed taking part in Sun Dances and Gourd Dances. He was a gifted musician and especially loved to sing and play the guitar. Surviving Lewis are his wife, Nola Price of Towaoc; his children, Lewis Price Jr., Trisha Lynn Price, Tanisha Faith Price, and Montel Eddie Price all of Towaoc; and his step-daughter, Venita June Laner of Gallup, N.M. He also leaves behind his siblings, Ernestine Tabbee of Amarillo, Tex., Carneea Ann Tabbee Wilson and husband, Duane of Amarillo, Tex., Magdalena Lansing of Ignacio, Colo., Cecil Tabbee of Towaoc, James Price and wife, Linda of Towaoc, Ernest Price of Towaoc, Janice Lang and companion, Kenneth Martinez of Towaoc, and Wayne Marsh and wife, Carrie of Towaoc; and his aunts, May Marsh Howe and Jean Marsh Taylor. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Martel White Eagle Price; his grandmother, Elizabeth Marsh; and his siblings, Clement Tabbee, Weldon Tabbee, Raina Lansing, Roger Price, Neal Lang, and Alfred Lang Jr.
