Leslie Marcel (Jake) Jacobsen

Memorial services for Cortez resident Leslie Marcel Jake Jacobsen will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 18 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Jake passed away June 6, 2018 at his residence in Cortez at the age of 71. Jake was born in St. George, UT on October 13, 1946 to parents Marcel and Irene (Farnsworth) Jacobsen. Jake is survived by his wife, Margaret of Cortez, CO; his children, Dax Jacobsen (Anita) of Blanding, UT, Bret Jacobsen (Marci) of Blanding, UT, Cody Jacobsen (Ashley) of Livingston, MT, Chas Jacobsen (Monica) of Blanding, UT, Justin Malone (Shelly) of Benton, LA, and Aleigh Zaidan (Eddie) of Shreveport, LA; 18 grandchildren; his brother, Ted Jacobsen (Sherry) of Enterprise, UT; and his Great Dane Neko. Jake was preceded in death by his parents.
