LEETTA IRENE REED Funeral services for LeEtta Irene Reed, a lifelong resident of Cortez, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 6 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery. Pastor Anthony Maes will officiate. LeEtta, 75, died on October 30, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center, Durango. LeEtta was born on April 24, 1940 in Cortez, the daughter of Alfred Dennis Boren and Mary Elizabeth (Crouse) Boren. LeEtta married Clayton Marvin Reed in Grand Junction, Colo. on November 25, 1959. She enjoyed reading and volunteering at the Methodist Thrift Shop. LeEtta is survived by children, Clayton Reed (Michelle) of Fontana, Calif., and Julie Wallace (Dana) of Cortez; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Guyrene Ward of Dolores, John Boren (Della) of Dolores and Alan Boren (Judy) of Supulpa, Oka. LeEtta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings, Elaine Lard, Nadine Lard and Leo Boren.
