Lee Wilber

ELMER LEROY “LEE” WILBER Elmer Leroy “Lee” Wilber was born April 19, 1941 in Cortez the son of Elmer L. and Eathata (Batten) Wilber. He passed away at his home on January 25, 2011 at the age of 69. Lee received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado. He owned and operated Wheat Ridge Motors in Wheat Ridge, Colo. for 18 years. In his free time Lee loved to go fishing. Lee returned to the Cortez area in the mid 1990s. Surviving Lee are his children, Randy Wilber of Longmont, Colo. and Leigh Ann Wilber of Denver, Colo.; by two grandchildren, Brittany Wilber and Jennifer Wilber; and by his brother, Charles Wilber and wife, Marie of Las Vegas, Nev. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, Rita (Fogle) Wilber in 2003; and a sister, Myrna Wilber. Cremation is planned with services to be held at a later date.
