LARRY WAYNE GANGWISH Graveside services for lifelong Cortez resident Larry Wayne Gangwish will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 9 at Cortez Cemetery. Larry was born on December 3, 1952 in Oak Creek, Colo. the son of Wayne Harrison and Norma Lou (King) Gangwish and he passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009 in Grand Junction, Colo. at the age of 56. As a younger man, Larry participated in Little League and Boy Scouts. Larry attended Montezuma-Cortez High School and he graduated in 1971. Larry loved fishing, hunting, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors. His heart truly belonged to his Model A Ford, "Molly." Surviving Larry are his sisters, Kim Clemensen and husband, Keith, Diane Pedersen and husband, Lester, and Sherry McNulty and husband, Michael; along with four nephews; two nieces; and three great-nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to Angkor Wat Assisted Living Facility, 476 Gunnison Way, Grand Junction, Colo. 81504.
