LARRY D. RICHMOND A Memorial Mass for Larry D. Richmond was celebrated on Friday, August 5, 2005 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Reverend Derrek D. Scott officiated. Larry was born in Fort Collins, Colo., October 4, 1950. He died at his home on August 3, 2005. Larry was 54 years old. On September 1, 2001, Larry married Marie Ray Suender. He was a member of the International Trowel Trades and Bricklayers Union and the BAC Local 7 of Denver, Colo. Larry specialized in industrial refactory bricklaying and welding. After retiring Larry became a decorative blacksmith with Bennett Forgeworks in Rico, Colo. He enjoyed working in his blacksmith shop at home, building gifts for family and friends. His home is adorned by a beautiful wrought iron fence that Larry crafted. An avid fisherman, Larry could be found at any of the local streams and lakes whenever time would permit. He also enjoyed working in his yard and flower gardens. Larry loved his family and is survived by his wife, Marie of Dolores; step-sons, Mark David Martinez and wife Heather of Farmington, N.M., John Charles Pierce of Dolores; step-daughter, Rachel Ann Ford and husband, Dustin; brother, Daniel Richmond and wife Janie of Fort Collins; sister, Linda Richmond of Fort Collins; grandchildren, Jasmine Meccia, Xzavior Martinez, Jaidyn Ford; nieces, Shannon Lamb and husband Ross of Wellington, Colo., Marcy Miller and husband Robb of Windsor, Colo., and Cindy Richmond of Fort Collins, and numerous grand nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and mother. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Larry Richmond with Hospice of Montezuma.
