LARRY LEROY COLLINS SR.

  Funeral services for Larry Leroy Collins Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the Towaoc Presbyterian Church. Interment will take place at the Towaoc Cemetery.

  Larry was born March 28, 1948 in Ignacio, Colo. the son of Myrtel (Clark) and Leon Collins Sr. He passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Vista Grande Inn Nursing Home at the age of 74.

  Surviving Larry are his children, Leona Cuch and Lionel Collins both of Towaoc, Stephanie Collins and Sheena Collins both of Shiprock, N.M.; by his siblings, Mary Collins House of White Rock, Utah, Leon Collins Jr. and Jerry Collins House II both of Towaoc; by his best friend, Daryl Darlene Collins of Shiprock, N.M; by his nieces and nephews, Virginia Collins of Denver, Colo., Darlene Collins of Grand Junction, Colo., Alise Reyna of Towaoc, Shay Ridley of White Rock, Utah, Jerry Collins III of Grand Junction, Colo., and Thomas Ridley of South Dakota; along with a large extended family and numerous friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; by his grandparents, Chief Jack House and Sarah Ute; by his children, Larry Collins Jr. and Lawrence Collins; and by his siblings, Jerry Collins I, Perry Collins, Johnny Collins and Harry Collins. The family would like to give a big thank you to Gloria Tom and Sharon House for their countless hours of assistance given to Larry.
