Landis Kay Porter

Funeral services for Cortez resident Landis Kay Porter will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Church of Christ in Cortez, CO. Shelby Smith and Stephen Porter will officiate. Interment will follow at Battle Rock Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Landis was born July 2, 1950 in Nocona, TX the daughter of Richard and Betty Jo (Weaver) Keck. She passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at her residence at the age of 69.
Surviving Landis are her spouse, Toad Porter of Cortez, CO; her sons, Dustin Porter of Peoria, AZ, Ray Porter (Jamie) of Denver, CO, and Stephen Porter of Chandler, AZ; her sisters, Brenda O’Brien (Rick) of Cortez, CO, and Marsha Gifford (Dale) of CA; her brother, Ron Exum of Lubbock, TX; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Landis was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Emma Etta Porter; her sister, Janet Conner; and her brother, Dick Keck.
