KRISTIN KATHLEEN SQUIRES-CONNER A Memorial Mass for Cortez resident Kristin Kathleen Squires-Conner will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 11 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph L. Gallegos C.R. officiating. Rosary services will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the church. Kristin was born on January 30, 1964 in Minneapolis, Minn. the daughter of Robert Gordon and Anita Rae (Nicely) Squires. She passed away at her residence on Friday, July 4, 2008 at the age of 44. Kris was a graduate of M-CHS. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelor of Education degree. Surviving Kris are her husband, William Conner of Cortez; her daughter, Jessica Nicole Guzman of Okinawa, Japan; two grandchildren, Jami and Kyle; and her siblings, Laurie Bovee of Albertville, Minn., Jennifer Squires of Cortez, and Amy Squires of Andover, Minn.
