KENNETH RAY RANDOLPH Graveside services for longtime Dove Creek resident Kenneth Ray Randolph will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 30 at Dove Creek Cemetery. Mr. Sam Thompson will officiate. Ken was born on October 3, 1927 in Saint Louis, Mo. the son of Ralph Ray and Maude Mae (Young) Randolph. He passed away at Vista Mesa Assisted Living in Cortez on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Ken was 86 years old. On February 6, 1948 Ken married Dorothy Naomi Hancock, sharing 64 years of marriage before Dorothy's death in 2012. Ken was not only active but he was also very athletic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and golfing as well as being a huge baseball fan. Those that knew Ken would tell you he was a great carpenter. Ken was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dove Creek. Surviving Ken are his children, Edward Randolph and wife, Musie of Bellville, Tex., Jeanne St. George and husband, Roger of Hoquiam, Wash., and Roger Randolph and wife, Ramona of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Keith Randolph, Randy St. George, Kristy Sacher, and Alexis Randolph; six great grandchildren; and his siblings, Judy Lawson and husband, Ben of Clovis, N.M. and Paul Randolph of Avondale, Ariz. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Randolph; his brother, Robert Randolph; and his sister, Ruth Ferguson.
