KENNETH "JUSTIN" WARD Funeral services for Kenneth "Justin" Ward, 44, currently of San Antonio, Tex. and former Cortez resident, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 10 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Pastor Jonathan Bland will officiate. Burial will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation has been set for Sunday evening at Ertel Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Justin was born February 4, 1971 in Cortez to Kenneth L. and Cheryl J. Ward. He went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2015. Surviving Justin are his wife, Trudie Ward of San Antonio, Tex.; his son, Wyatt Ward of San Antonio; his siblings, Robin Bland of Cortez, Janice Ward of Cortez, Cheryl Mauer of Brentwood, Calif., and Rick Ward of Las Vegas, Nev.; and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Justin was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth L. Ward and Cheryl J. Ward. His love of the outdoors was expressed through time spent hunting, fishing, four wheeling, camping and ultimately spending quality time with his family and many friends.
