Kenneth Joe Polich

KENNETH JOE POLICH Graveside services for longtime Cortez resident Kenneth Joe Polich will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 10 at Lebanon Cemetery. Bishop Gary Tanner will conduct. Kenneth was born on January 8, 1945 in Albuquerque, N.M. the son of Victor F. and Lila Mae (Parsons) Polich. He passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. On June 5, 1964, Kenneth married Janey Clawson in Ramah, N.M. The couple shared 46 loving years of marriage. Kenneth was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. One of Kenneth's loves in life was roping, he enjoyed all aspects of the sport. Surviving Kenneth are his wife, Janey Polich of Cortez; his sons, Levi Polich and wife, Michele of Portales, N.M., Koy Polich of Cortez, and Kyle Polich and wife, Jaki of Hico, Tex.; his grandchildren, Chelsey Hanson and husband, Devin, Lexie Polich, Koby Polich, Jori Polich, Slade Hamann, and Reece Hamann; his great-grandchild, Jalen Polich; his brother, Lonnie Polich and wife, Jane Ann of Belen, N.M; and by two nieces and one nephew. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.
