Keith Karl Rourk

Keith Karl Rourk, 73, of Cortez, CO passed away on December 10, 2020. He was born to parents Mary Elizabeth Jacobs and Robert Russel Rourk on March 27, 1947 in LaJunta, CO.
Keith graduated from Montezuma Cortez High School in 1966. He worked as an Air Force Master Sergeant 322 ALS CRC, and served in Viet Nam as a C130 senior mechanic where he received many awards. After 21 years of service Keith retired from the United States Air Force in 1988 and moved to Cortez, CO and worked at Mesa Verde from 1989-2011. He enjoyed being an avid Broncos fan and an Angel’s End Zone patron, but mostly all the time he spent there with his many friends.
Surviving Keith are his son, Brian Rourk (Dawn) of Redlands, CA; his daughter, Kathy Fields (Mike) of Corsicana, TX; his siblings, Kay Garlinghouse (Jim) of Cortez, CO, Julius Rourk of Quartzsite, AZ, and Gordon Rourk of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Russel and Mary Elizabeth Rourk.
Keith’s family and friends were most important in his life, and there was nothing he would not do for them.
Keith was cremated and graveside memorial services will be held at a later date to be announced.
