Kathreen Marie Kidd

 A graveside service and celebration of life for Kathreen Marie Kidd will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 10:00am at Cortez Cemetery and Baptist Chapel. 

 Kathy was born on April 14, 1945 in Fowler, Colorado the daughter of William Arthur Patton and Lillie (Rackley) Patton. Spending most of her life in Cortez, she passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. 

 Devoted and fierce in her caring nature, Kathy was an active and beloved member of her church. She loved all animals, especially horses, enjoyed playing the piano, and spent much of her time camping across Southwest Colorado. 

 Surviving Kathy are her son Shiloh Kidd and wife Lorilynn Violanta of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her daughters Susan Stovall of Salinas, California and Charlene McCrae of Rocky Top, Tennessee; and beloved family members Mitch Kidd, Elton Kidd, Sherrie Bowen, and Brian Kidd along with their partners, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

 Her first husband Oscar Ray Stuckman preceded her in death in 1980. Her second husband James Elton Kidd preceded her in death in 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Bea Cox and Franklin Patton.
