Kathie Raye Burkhart

 Graveside services for Kathie Raye Burkhart will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Summit Ridge Cemetery. Pastor Marvin Graves will officiate.

 Kathie Burkhart passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 and she was born December 20, 1942 in Forest Grove, Ore. Kathie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, two great-grandsons, her son, Ronald Victor Widener, Jr., and the love of her life, William Mathew “Mick” Simmons. On November 14, 1993, Kathie remarried the love of her life, Mick. The couple shared 19 years of marriage prior to his passing.

 Surviving Kathie are her daughters, Vickie Garcia, Melissa and Sabino Lopez, Lisa and Horst Krewetzki, and Julie and Ron Ferguson; her grandchildren, Beth, Alex, Chrystal, Sarah, Dayton, Sabino “JR” Rocio, Brittanie, Haley, Allen, Ashley, and Brian; along with numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

 Kathie will always be remembered for her straightforwardness and her strong will. You always knew where you stood with her up to the very end. You will be forever in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten.
