KALIN RAY HEINEY Funeral services for Cortez resident Kalin Ray Heiney will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 10 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Kalin was born on June 10, 2009 in Cortez the son of Scotty Ray and Rosa Gail (Rasmussen) Heiney. He passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Southwest Memorial Hospital. Surviving Kalin are his parents, Scott and Rosa Heiney of Cortez; and his siblings, Kenneth Mitchell, Tony Heiney, Tyler Rasmussen, Logan Heiney, and Jacey Rasmussen. Kalin also leaves behind his grandparents, Charles and Billie Baskett of Cortez, Ray and Marsha Heiney of Arizona, and Patsy Rasmussen and Albert Archuleta of La Jara, N.M.; his great-grandmother, Vada Small of Cortez; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
