Judy Dianne Tate

Funeral services for lifelong Cortez resident, Judy Dianne Tate, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Pastor Marvin Graves and Pastor Don Henderson will co-officiate the service. Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Judy was born on March 22, 1950 in Durango, Colo. the daughter of Rudy Marion and Vanita Ilene (Weaver) Tate. Judy passed away in Albuquerque, N.M. on February 9, 2016 at the age of 65. Judy was active in the Assembly of God Church including sponsoring a Girl's Missionetts Club. She was employed over the years as a bookkeeper in both the restaurant and oil industries; and also as an apartment assistant manager. In general, Judy enjoyed working. Judy is survived by her mother, Vanita Warren; her sister, Pat Atkinson (Royce); her nieces and nephews, Michelle Drew (Ralph), Bill Atkinson (Kathy), Jody Neiman (Matt) and Brian Perea; her three aunts, numerous cousins, six great nephews, two great nieces and one great great nephew. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Rudy Tate; a sister, Marilyn Rudean Perea; and by her step-father, Kenneth Warren.
