Judith Leone Follman

November 21, 1952 — February 12, 2015

JUDITH LEONE FOLLMAN Memorial services for longtime Cortez resident, Judith Leone Follman will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 21 at the Lewis Arriola Community Center. Judy was born Nov 21, 1952 in Cortez to Elvin and LaDelle Roundtree. She passed away on Feb 12, 2015. Judy spent her childhood growing up with four older brothers and sisters in Pleasant View and later moved to Cortez where she graduated high school. She was always involved with 4H and helping around the family farm. She married Doug Follman on Feb 19, 1972 where they soon moved to Creede, Colo. and raised their two children, Corey and Staci. Judy was always involved in many organizations in the community of Creede. She belonged to the Rebecca's Lodge, 4H, and always volunteered in many functions that her kids were in. She was the mom that never missed a game or event that Corey and Staci were involved in. She moved back to Cortez in 1995 where soon after she began a new life with her best friend and love of her life, Harry Rogers. She became the famous camp cook for the ranch, when they would gather and ship cows. Friends would ask for a recipe and she would always reply, "I don't really have one, just a little of this or that and see what you get". Helping Harry and his family with the ranch was special to her. They also enjoyed shooting trap and skeet together; and shared many memories and great times together that she will carry on with her. Judy worked at the County Clerk's office for 18 years. In that time she had helped and touched so many lives. She loved her job and helping others, that was what she was all about. Her seven grandkids were her pride and joy. Anytime she could spend with them she took full advantage of, and spoiling each one of them was always on the list. Judy leaves behind her best friend, Harry Rogers; her two children, Corey Follman and wife, Angie, and Staci Burress and husband, Rusty; two step-children, Jamie Bradshaw and husband, Tim, and Wayne Rogers and wife, Kacy; grandkids, Codey, Haley, Jacey, Tyler, Kaysi, Hailey, and Grace; her mother, LaDelle; sister, LeGinia Krook and husband, John; brother, Bill Roundtree and wife, Vetta; sister, Susan Kimmi and husband, Ron; brother, Dean Roundtree and wife, Jeannie; many nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she touched. Preceding Judy in death is her father, Elvin Roundtree. The family would like to thank a very special friend to mom and all of us through this time. Glenda Hill was with her every step of the way. She is a very special lady and we are forever grateful. Memorial contributions can be made in Judy's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1800 Third Ave. Suite 101, Durango, Colo., 81301
