Juanita Lee Harris

Juanita Lee Harris Born October 18th, 1927 and left this Life on January 1st, 2018 This is the celebration of the life achievements of Juanita Lee Harris. Born in October 18th, 1927 in Shiprock, New Mexico to her mother Virginia Lee and father Jim Mitchell. Juanita Harris passed away on January 1, 2018 at Cortez, CO. She grew up at the base of Shiprock peak herding sheep and various livestock during her childhood years along with sister Alice Paul and brother Daniel Kellywood. Traveled and worked in numerous places from Needles and Barstow, California, Parker and Phoenix, Arizona and Montrose Colorado. She finally settled and raised a family in Cortez, Colorado. Juanita enjoyed cooking, making Native American dolls, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was married to Frank Harris (deceased), and is survived by her daughter Bernice Ann Lee of Cortez, CO, and her son Chee Cadman Jr. of Tucson, AZ. Juanita is the proud grandmother of 9 (nine) grandchildren, and 14(fourteen) great grandchildren.
