Joseph Valois Espinoza

JOSEPH VALOIS ESPINOZA Funeral services for Joseph Valois Espinoza, 25 of Cortez, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20 at Parque de Vida with Father Derrek D. Scott officiating. Seating is limited at the gazebo so guests are asked to bring a chair. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. Rosary services will be held Monday evening beginning at 7 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Joseph was born the son of Valois John and Sylvia Dora (Vigil) Espinoza on Feb. 10, 1980 in Cortez, Colo. He passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005 near Hesperus, Colo. A social person, Joseph loved time spent with his friends. He enjoyed dancing, camping and watching boxing. Surviving Joseph are his mother, Sylvia Espinoza of Cortez; a brother, Anthony Valois Espinoza of Cortez; a sister, Valerie Dora Espinoza of Cortez; a nephew, Virgil Espinoza also of Cortez; and Cabre Hernandez who was very special to him; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. His father, Valois Espinoza; and his grandparents, Joe Felipe Espinoza, Feloniz Espinoza, Abie Vigil and Cordie Moya, preceded him in death.
