Joseph Allen Traucht

Funeral services for Cortez resident Joseph Allen ‘Joe’ Traucht will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at 7th Day Adventist Church in Cortez, CO. Pastor John Clark and Mr. Ron Price will officiate. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation will take place before the service at 10 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at 7th Day Adventist Church.
Joe was born March 23, 1956 in Bluffton, Ohio, the son of Howard Clair and Kathleen Lucille (Brumbaugh) Traucht. He passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez, CO at the age of 64.
Surviving Joe are his spouse, Kim Traucht of Cortez, CO; his children, Jamie Traucht of OH, Jacob Traucht of OH, Krisalynn Heacock of Cortez, CO, Kaylee Traucht of Dolores, CO, Tiffany Traucht of Cortez, CO, and Jessica Heacock of Dolores, CO; his siblings, Carolyn Begay of Farmington, NM, Phyllis Davis of OH, and Phillip Traucht of Bluffton, OH; and six grandchildren, Kristopher and Kyla Lybrand, Jake Traucht, McKenzie Hallacy, Dillan Traucht, and Logan Diddion-Gray. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Sam Traucht.
