JOHNNIE ANDREW FRANCISCO Funeral Mass for longtime area resident Johnnie Andrew Francisco will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 23 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery. A visitation has been scheduled for Friday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Johnnie was born March 22, 1931 in Summit Ridge, Colo. the son of Joe and Eloisa (Samora) Francisco. He passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his home at the age of 86. Johnnie married the love of his life, Della Rosalie Martinez on September 29, 1951 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Dolores. Johnnie proudly owned and operated his own trucking business for over 20 years. Surviving Johnnie are his loving wife of 66 years, Della Francisco of Summit Ridge, Colo.; his children, Kathy Lee Sanchez (Billy) of Cortez, Johnnie Ray Francisco of Summit Ridge, Colo., Diana Marie Toms (Mitchell) of Cortez, and Michael Francisco (Ruth Wilson Francisco) of Yellow Jacket, Colo.; and by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents; and by his siblings, Joe Francisco, Manuel Francisco, Raymond Francisco, Tiva Vialpando, Lillian Marez, Carmen Martinez, and Zina Garcia.
