JOHN WILLIAM WARREN Memorial services for Cortez resident John William Warren will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 15 at the Cortez First Assembly of God Church. Pastor Don Henderson will officiate. John was born on March 28, 1936 in Windsor, Missouri the son of Otis and Opal (Hoult) Warren. He passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at San Juan Regional Hospital in Farmington at the age of 71. John was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church. Surviving John are his wife, Dortha Warren of Cortez; his children, Johnny Warren and wife, Juanita of Cortez, and Michele Ray and husband, Lee of Kirtland, N.M., his siblings, Laura Rieks of Albany, Mo., Marian Warren of Bethany, Mo., and Barbra Harris of Citrus Heights, Calif.; his son-in-law, Brit Worster of Grand Junction, Colo.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Shannon Worster; and his siblings, Kay, Kenneth, and infant brother, and an infant sister.
