John L. Heffner

JOHN L. "JACK" HEFFNER John L. "Jack" Heffner was born September 30, 1939 in Silverton, Colo. the son of Lewis William and Kathryne (Weaver) Heffner. He passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at his Cortez home at the age of 72. Surviving Jack are his children, Mark Heffner and wife, Renee of Littleton, Colo. and Tammy Beanland of Dove Creek; his step-children, Martha Heffner of Kirtland, N.M., and Elaine Killingbeck of Cortez; and his grandchildren, Nick Heffner, Livvi Heffner, Chad Beanland, Matt Beanland and Jacy Huskey, Chris Beanland, Richard Killingbeck, Kelsie Killingbeck, and Tiffany Killingbeck. Jack also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Cael Beanland and Cade Curtis; his siblings, Grayce Frohock of Cortez, Betty Beagley and husband, Floyd of Grand Junction, Colo., and Harry Heffner of Cortez; and by his beloved dog, Lady. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
