John Frowin Hiser

JOHN FROWIN HISER John Frowin Hiser, 77 of Farmington, N.M., passed away at Valley Inn Nursing Home on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. He was born in Springfield, Mo. on May 29, 1933 the son of Louis W. and Marie (Ball) Hiser. John proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. On February 14, 1956 John married Patsy Louise Kelly in Durango. They recently celebrated 55 years of marriage. John owned and operated John Hiser Piano Tuning for 40 years, a job that he dearly loved. In his younger years he enjoyed time spent hunting and camping, and later on he loved playing golf. John was a member of Knights of Columbus. Surviving John are his beloved wife, Patsy Hiser of Farmington, N.M.; his children, John Hiser II and wife, Cristy of Fairgrove, Mo., Evonne Adel and husband, Steve of Coffeyville, Kans., Mary Hiser of Aztec, N.M.; Kelly Mendoza and husband, Joel of Republic, Mo., Denise Graham and husband, Glenn Davis of Mesa, Ariz., Robert Hiser and wife, Cindy of Aztec, N.M., and Michael Hiser of Farmington, N.M.; and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents; and by two brothers and one sister. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of John F. Hiser at Citizens Bank in Farmington, N.M. Cremation has taken place with no services being planned.
