JOCKLYN "JACKIE" FIELDSON Funeral services for Dolores resident Jocklyn "Jackie" Fieldson will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 21 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, M Road Chapel. Interment will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery. A viewing has been scheduled for Saturday morning from 9 to service time at the church. Jackie was born on April 10, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Owen W. and Florence E. (Young) Atkin. She passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at her home at the age of 83. Jackie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Surviving Jackie are her children, Robert O. Hughes and wife, Gwen of Henderson, Nev., Ronald W. Fieldson and wife, Penny of Dolores, and Carol Sue Fieldson of Dolores; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her siblings, Colleen M. Bartlett and husband, Ed Jaskulski of Dolores, and Garrold E. Atkin and wife, Dianne of Arizona; and her adopted family, Ken and Elaine McClain. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Bonnie Gay. Memorial contributions may be made in Jackie's name at Dolores State Bank.
