JESSIE NADENE WAGGONER Graveside services for Farmington, N.M. resident Jessie Nadene Waggoner will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 6 at Arriola Cemetery. Jessie was born May 25, 1936 in Cortez the daughter of Roy Ann and Eva Lucritia (Billingsley) Arnold. She passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M. at the age of 76. Jessie was a devoted Christian, she attended Mt. Vista Baptist Church in Farmington. She greatly enjoyed gardening, Jessie incorporated her talent with plants and flowers while working at a greenhouse for over 30 years. A wonderful mom and grandmother, Jessie took great pride in being the matriarch of her family. In her free time, Jessie enjoyed dancing, singing, sewing, painting, needlework and baking. She made delicious bread. Surviving Jessie are her eight children, Clinton Aulston and wife, Sharon of Salem, Ark., Debbie Steegeman of Farmington, N.M., Patricia Joplin and husband, Don of Farmington, N.M., Leonard Taylor and wife, Carolyn of Durango, Darrin Waggoner of Colorado Springs, Colo., Lorna Franklin of Bickleton, Wash., Calvin Aulston and wife, Alisha of Seaside, Ore., and Elaine Morrison and husband, David of Farmington, N.M. Jessie also leaves behind 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Walter Arnold and wife, Jinx of Overton, Nev., and Erma Kelso of Redwood, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her siblings, Kenneth Arnold, Joseph Arnold, Carroll Arnold, Eva May Arnold, Thelma Farr, and Libby Arnold. Memorial contributions may be made in Jessie Waggoner's name to the American Cancer Society.
