JESSE RODRIGUEZ Funeral services for lifelong Cortez resident, Jesse Rodriguez will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 23 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. A visitation has been scheduled from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 5 p.m. on Sunday evening at the Ertel Chapel. Jesse was born on October 11, 1995 in Cortez the son of Jesus Jose and Guadalupe Marie (Becker) Rodriguez. He passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at his home in Cortez. Jesse was 19 years old. A passion for cars, Jesse loved to drift his car and enjoyed going four wheeling. Swimming and fishing were also favorites of Jesse's. Surviving Jesse are his parents, Jesus Rodriguez and Guadalupe Rodriguez both of Cortez; his children, Isabella Marie Rodriguez and Jesse Christopher Rodriguez; and their mother, Jonnie Becker; and his brother, Isidro Rodriguez all of Cortez; as well as many family and friends. A dinner following services will be held for family and friends a the Cortez Family Worship Center located at 500 N. Washington street.
