Jerry Lynn Comisky

Jerry Lynn Comisky was born November 15, 1959, in Cortez, CO, the son of Thomas Paul and Doris (Reynolds) Comisky. He passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at the Mancos Valley Inn at the age of 63. The family is planning a celebration of life in the Spring.

Jerry grew up in Arriola near the Beulah school house. He graduated from Montezuma-Cortez High School. He was married to Grace Comisky for many years and they have remained friends. Jerry was employed during the latter part of his life by Montezuma County where he took pride in running the mower and taking care of the roads of Montezuma County. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and friends and hunting in the great outdoors. His greatest joy was his dog, Cocoa.

Surviving Jerry are his siblings, Joe Jones; Janey (Comisky) Gilliland and Bill Gilliland; Marjie (Comisky) Barnett; and Bill Comisky; his sister-in-law Hattie Comisky; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Tom Comisky.
