Jerre Alden Frautschy

Inurnment services for Jerre Alden Frautschy will be held at a later date at National Cemetery, Santa Fe, N.M. Jerre was born June 23, 1932 in Dekalb, Ill. the son of Ray Clifford and Lois Kathryn (Brown) Frautschy. He passed away on October 9, 2015 at his daughter's residence in Durango. Jerre married Joan Kathryn Shortt on August 27, 1955 in St. Vincent Catholic Church, River Forest, Ill. Jerre served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Economics from Illinois Institute of Technology. Jerre is survived by his children, Henry George Frautschy (Brenda Cowen of Huston, Tex.) of Oshkosh, Wis., Kathrene Mary Frautschy of Durango, Jerre Alden Frautschy, Jr. of Durango and Simone Crochelli (Michael) of Bayfield; his sisters, Polly Carter of Powers Lake, Wis., Kay Pierce of Johnston, Iowa and Linda Sherman of Fontana, Wis.; and his grandchildren, Antonio Crochelli of Bayfield, Alden Frautschy of Oshkosh, Wis. and Jenny Boysen (Justin) of Green Bay, Wis. Jerre was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife.
