JEANETTE LOUISE CLEAVELAND Memorial services for longtime Dolores resident Jeanette Louise Cleaveland will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the First Assembly of God Church in Cortez. Pastor David Compton will officiate. Jeanette was born June 4, 1947 in Dudley, Mo. the daughter of Carl and Murl (Lishman) Turley. She passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at her residence at the age of 69. Jeanette worked many years as a beautician and she loved it. She could do hair, make-up, manicures/pedicures and just about anything else to make people feel good. Jeanette really enjoyed taking good care of people. She also liked playing cards but her favorite activity was painting. She was an artist at heart. Surviving Jeanette are her husband, Bruce Cleaveland of Dolores; her children, Bryan McWatters (Cyndi) of Amarillo, Tex. and Jeana Echols (Keith) of Cortez; by her grandchildren, Tayler, Tegan and Trenton McWatters of Amarillo, Tex. and Madison and Maison Echols of Cortez; and by her siblings, Curtis Turley (Jamie), Gary Turley, Jerry Turley (Beth) all of Amarillo, Tex. and Bonnie Cleaveland (Brad) of Eugene, Ore. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents.
