Jeanette Lavonne Winter

Jeanette LaVonne Winter was born August 8, 1921 in Webber, KS the daughter of Owen and Elma Graham. She passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Vista Grande in Cortez, CO at the age of 99.
Jeanette and her family moved to Colorado where she met Wilbert (Willy) Winter. They were married on December 24, 1937. Jeanette and Willy worked in California for a while, but mostly lived and farmed around Platteville, Eaton, and Greeley, CO. In 1951 they adopted their first son, Roger Allen, and in 1954, Randy Ray was adopted. Jeanette moved from Greeley to Cortez in 1997 and enjoyed traveling with friends and family from the Cortez and Dolores areas.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; both of her sons; her brother Robert; and her sister, Barbara. Surviving Jeanette are her brother William and sister-in-law, Jean; her granddaughter Nikki and husband Chris, and great grandsons Will and Owen; her grandson Allan, and great grandchildren Ayden and Kyndal; her grandson Justin and wife Amanda, and great grandchildren Deven, Ellisia, and Braxton; and her daughter-in-law Peggy.
