Jannette Willden Taylor

Funeral services for Cortez resident Jannette Taylor will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Road M Chapel. Bishop Jeremy Yarbrough will officiate. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the church prior to the service.
Jannette Willden Taylor passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 12, 2020. She was born February 25, 1936 to Vernon and Chloe Dove Slade Willden in Cortez, CO. She was the third of four children. She was married to Glenn Dale Taylor on September 4, 1953. They were blessed with five children.
Jannette retired from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she had been a custodian for the church building. She loved to travel and had been all over the world. Her favorites were China, Russia and Israel.
Jannette was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Taylor; her parents Vernon and Dove Willden; her sister, Betty Lou DeRosier; her brother, William Keith Willden; and twin grandchildren Charity Dove and Earl LeRoy Jr. She is survived by her sister, Nadean Lichliter; and her children Randy (Tara) Taylor, Danny (Gracia) Taylor, Donca (Earl) Edwards, Penny Taylor and Glenda James. She was blessed to have 25 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to Vista Mesa for caring for her the last three years.
