JANIE LEE DAVENPORT Janie Lee Davenport passed away at her Cortez home on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the age of 72. She was born August 11, 1942 in Sundown, Tex. to William T. and Rena Belle (Lee) Richardson. Surviving Janie are her husband of 46 years, James J. Davenport of Cortez; children, Evan Powell of San Antonio, Tex., Rhonda Powell of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Kevin O'Dell of Rockford, Ill.; and by two grandchildren, Alex and Stephanie O'Dell of Rockford, Ill. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Montezuma, Box 740, Cortez. Cremation will take place with no services planned.
