James Marvin 'Jim' Wilson

Graveside services for Mancos resident James Marvin ‘Jim’ Wilson will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2021 at Cortez Cemetery. Mr. Bill Wilson will officiate. Military Honors will be performed by the Veterans of Montezuma County. A luncheon will follow at the Cortez Elks Lodge. Visitation will take place from 1 – 5 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Jim was born December 21, 1951 in Alamosa, CO the son of David Junior and Shirley Jean (Kline) Wilson. He passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his residence at the age of 69.
Surviving Jim are his loving wife, Donna Wilson of Mancos, CO; his children, Jimmy Wilson of Cortez, CO, Stacey Burton (Jimmy) of Cortez, CO, and Tammy Andrist of OR; his siblings, Bill Wilson of Glendale, AZ, Jean Boothe (Jim) of Grand Junction, CO, Jerry Wilson (Martha) of Tucson, AZ, Lyle Wilson (Sally) of Alamogordo, NM, and Carrie Wylie (Kenneth) of Mesa, AZ; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
