JAMES LEROY MCCAULEY Funeral services for long-time resident James Leroy "Jim" McCauley will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7 at Ertel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. Pastor Anthony Maes will officiate. Jim was born in Bear Valley, Wisc. the son of Sam and Caroline (Rosenal) McCauley. He passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Vista Grande Inn in Cortez at the age of 88. Surviving Jim are his beloved wife, Mary Ellen McCauley of Dolores; his son, Gary McCauley; his grandson, Shane McCauley; three stepchildren, Billy Fletcher, Renee Dolan and Clint Fletcher; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Caroline McCauley and his 10 siblings.
