JAMES KALE MCNELEY Funeral services for Cortez resident James Kale "Jim" McNeley will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery, Jim was born July 25, 1931 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Glen Golden and Marjorie Faye (Haussman) McNeley. He passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. Surviving Jim are his son, Glen McNeley (Charmaine) of Cortez; his grandchildren, Mary Jane McNeley, Sierra Grace McNeley, Malea Rose McNeley, and Glen Golden McNeley all of Cortez; and his sisters, Joanne Middleton of Des Moines, Iowa, and Neysa Picklum (Warren) of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, Grace Anna McNeley; and by his brother, David McNeley.
